One of many sexual acts against another, either forcibly or without his/her permission, and/or against a child or someone who is otherwise incapable of communicating unwillingness. The severity ranges from forcible rape to other forms of sexual contact.

Engaging in or causing sexual contact with or by another person 18 or older (1) By threatening or placing that other person in reasonable fear (other than reasonable fear that any person will be subjected to death, bodily injury of kidnapping); or (2) Where the person knows or has reason to know that the other person is incapable of appraising the nature of the conduct, declining participation in that sexual act or communicating unwillingness to engage in that sexual act.

In March 2009, the Metro Police Department announced it would stop providing narrative descriptions of crimes, citing privacy concerns.
